You Asked For it: The Green Smoothie Recipe

So apparently, Dan has been talking about the Green Smoothies I make.  I was surprised that a lot of people who watch the BB live-feeds contacted me for the recipe. But if you ask, I answer. So here is the recipe!

I am far from a healthy eater (McDonald’s is my guilty pleasure) but to make up for it, I drink a Green Smoothie every day. I even got Dan hooked on them! My recipe makes two servings and even fulfills the suggested fruits/veggie requirement for the day!

Gheesling Green Smoothie:

1 1/2 packed cups fresh spinach

1 1/2 packed cups fresh kale

Handful of baby carrots

1 cup blue berries

1 banana

1 cup strawberries

1 cup pineapple chunks

Put all ingredients in a blender.

Add water & ice to make it your desired consistency.

Just made some this morning. I loved it. I thought for some reason it would be green. Mine turned very purple! It is still delicious! Thanks for the recipe.
